Hi. I watched part of the 123 Sesame Street episode last Sunday and discovered the animated segment about the letter c. It was c-canary. It used to make me upset as a kid and now it scares the daylights out of me. Here's how it went:

We see a man whistling and swinging in the cage as the voice calls "C!" off-screen. After a long pause as the man continues to whistle, voice calls "Canary!" After that, we see...a HUGE and SCARY-LOOKING canary reading and says "C." as the man still whistles. This was right before Harvey Kneeslapper's "do you wanna see" trick.

Anybody remember this surreal c segment?

Yeah, I saw that one on Noggin, too. Forgot how much that one scared me as a kid! They'd probably never get away with that these days with these hypersensitive parents!
