Edinburgh is the place to be for Henson fans this month.
As well as Puppet Up! coming to the Fringe, Brian Henson is making a special appearance in a few weeks time on 23 August. From the BBC website:
"Brian Henson, son of Jim Henson, chairman of The Jim Henson Company, and award-winning director, producer, and puppeteer, will give an inside view of the history, and future, of the unique Henson technique and style of puppetry that revolutionised the art form for television and film.
He will show samples of the company's work throughout the years, including behind-the-scenes clips from Labyrinth and The Dark Crystal and will discuss the forthcoming new BBC television series That Puppet Game Show.
Henson will then give a live demonstration of puppetry for the screen; a special opportunity to see one of the masters of the form at work. This will be followed by a Q&A session, with audience questions."
