Sam and Friends BookI was watching Old School set 2 and I was delighted by the Billy Joe Jive segments, since I saw them when I was much younger and always loved them. I took a closer look, and noticed something that got me curious.
Was Filmation involved with the production, or involved in any other way? The limited animation looked quite a bit like theirs, and also, Suzie Sunshine (or whatever her name is) was clearly voiced by Erika Carroll. She was the Daughter of Lou Schiemer, who was in charge of Filmation.
