Does anyone remember this episode from the 70s?

Big Bird gathered everyone on Sesame Street for a variety show about the number 4. There was a stage and a big orange four on a box. The first act was Grover trying to look like a 4, but he ended up standing straight like a 1. So Big Bird arranged Grover's body to look like a 4 and it looked like poor Grover was in pain. Then when it was over, Grover fainted.

Snuffy was the next act, but he was too shy to get on stage. So Big Bird called him a mystery guest who will do 4 jumps. Snuffy, behind the curtain, jumped 4 times causing the street to shake and to make everyone wonder what was happening.

Then Bert was telling the story of how he met 4 pigeons and the different feelings they felt. Happy, sad, mad, and surprised. And the different coos they replied in.

The Count invited 4 kids on stage so he could count them. First he counted in English, then Spanish, then French, then Swahili, and he wouldn't stop counting in different languages, so Big Bird had to close the curtain.

Then Big Bird and 3 anything muppet guys in black tuxedos came out and sang the song, "I Just Adore 4!"

And it ended with Big Bird and everyone who was in the show coming out to take a bow. While Snuffy bowed in his hiding place.

I very clearly remember Big Bird's number 4 song, but I didn't know that there was a whole show out of it. Actually, I think it took place in the 80s according to toughpigs.com. I'm guessing it took place around the time Snuffy was 'imaginary.'

I see. The reason I was thinking 80s was because there was previously a quote from the song on the Toughpigs site and it was given the date 1980 or something like that. I guess that was a mistake.

Well, I know that the song "I Just Adore '4'" is from 1973, so that must be when it's from, but I had no idea that was part of a street plot originally, because it was reran as an insert up until 1987.
