I watched some of the special and the very end confuses me:

During the very end of the credits,
what is the significance of the glowing bamboo stump?

I think it might be a reference to old Japanese myths and legends.

Well earlier in the movie they talk about how the bamboo princess first appeared from a bamboo tree. So I always kind of took it as the bamboo princess returning again.

I find it hilarious that Kaguya is in the special, because all I can think of is Kaguya Houraisan from Touhou and I can't help but wonder if anyone who saw this special became Touhou fans later on.
