Late in my history of viewing SS, I recall
getting right smack to the end of a cartoon
and seeing characters from the comic Beetle
Bailey. I saw almost nothing. I believe it
was narrated. Am I correct that "Beetle
Bailey" was on Sesame Street and what was
the cartoon about?

I don't know about Beetle but I've seen Jughead on a Sesame Street segment, and an early version of Hey Arnold also appeared there.

Erracht,

I have that same vague proto-memory that you do about Beetle Bailey on Sesame Street--it was a basic animated segment about some simple concept like counting or something, but I can't remember much more than that.

I remember Jughead's segment was about the letter "J."

It'd be interesting to find out...
