Beautiful Balloon Skit

Hi - I'm new to the Muppet Forum, but have enjoyed it so far. It's hard to find time to dig into everything when I have a 1 year old running around.

A question for ANYBODY out there who could share in this memory: does ANYBODY (please, let there be somebody) remember an old (ancient for today's standards) Sesame Street skit (early 70s I'd say) involving a hot air balloon that crashes? I believe the song Beautiful Balloon was being sung as well. I remember it was a haunting skit, and my husband has the same uncomfortable memory of this skit. It started out lighthearted, but ending in a crash that scared the diaper off of me.

We'd appreciate anyone who could expand on the memory of this skit. And dare I ask: does anyone have it on tape????

And just wanted to state that I wish someone would come up with a strictly Muppet channel so we could all enjoy these classic and vintage works of such a talented group of puppeteers and artists (as well as song writers and script writers, etc.).

Thanks in advance!
