I've heard so much neat things about the NY musical, Avenue Q. And I've seen a song from there on the Jerry Lewis telethon. And I'd like to go see it myself.

But I heard it also has some adult themes in it. Does anyone know if it has mild-adult themes or is it way too shocking and offense to invite a family to go see?

it is not for young children, or pre-teens, think of it as being PG-13 or so, its a fun musical, but not for the faint of heart , or people who dont like humor on the edge,(no violence, but it does have sexual undertones and themes, and some obsecnity through out it)

if this doesnt scare you then by all means please do enjoy it!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for your info.

I wouldn't mind seeing that play, but I'm not sure if my family would like that stuff. We usually all go see musicals together.

i can understand, i worked on the sho, and still have yet to go see it with my family, i love when they get to se things i have done, but not to keen on sitting next to my mom during a few scenes, (even though i think its funny, )

again, may be its something for u and your wife or what ever, just not for the kids

The family I have is a Mom and Dad and sister. Sure, we like some adult humor like the Simpsons. I was just wondering if Avenue Q would be too much. Maybe if it one day ever appears on a video, I could watch it in the privacy of my home and judge for it myself.

Don't worry about the presumption. But yeah. If I ever get a chance to go to New York, maybe I'll check out the famed Avenue Q myself.
