Hi all,
I thought I would start a new thread rather than add on to the old one. Just when you though the Avenue Q contest was over...it isn't...well not completely.
The "One Night Stand" Avenue Q contest that was held and voted on had three final winners.
Just to clarify for some, the character "Maurice Tipo" was created by Andrew MacDonald-Smith. I built the puppet. It is his character and he entered it.
Well there is one more part to the contest. The three winners were asked to submit a video of their puppet to give people a better sense of who the puppet characters were. The three videos have been posted and we the public get to vote on it.
The winner will have the once in a lifetime opportunity to step onstage at the Golden Theatre on Broadway with the cast of AVENUE Q!
Yes, I am obviously biased, but I encourage everyone to watch the videos and vote. I had never seen Andrew perform up until the time I saw the video. I think that Andrew MacDonald-Smith is an exceptional talent and I also think that his video is amazingly well done. So please check it out here and vote for your favourite.
