This is the kinda of Improv acting that sums up not only the old school Muppet humor but a sense of adult humor the puppeteers bring to the table, NOT TALKING DOWN TO CHILDREN. Also check out at 00:12:48 Don Stalin's face when the pup licks him... O MAN to much ...it killed me.

There is some fantastic stuff in the rest of the video as well.

Watching this Video points out it's not how well the puppet's are made but what subtle acting and incite to small everyday actions and observations adds to a performance.

About 13 or 14 years ago there was something like this with Elmo and the Frugal gourmet making Pizza dough and also the Cookie Monster with Martha Stewart.
