Man, you didn't have to go all the way to Texas to get Legos....

Look, it's a Lego Alamo....and here's a Lego oil well and a Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader made entirely of Legos...

Way past that, mate ;-)

And once this fingerprinting/mugshotting thing starts up, I will be refusing to attend the US-based meetings.

Yeah, isn't that ridiculous? As soon as I have free time I'm gonna write my congressperson about it. I think it's gonna insult everyone. Plus it'll drastically reduce the already slim chances that my host parents will ever come visit me.

It's a gross invasion of privacy, and it will have no effect whatsoever on what the government is claiming it's for. The 9/11 attackers got into the country perfectly legally. Where the system broke down is that they didn't leave when they were supposed to. Plus, the US is missing a little thing we call the 'Data Protection Act', so there is no way I'm allowing personal data to get into their hands.

My country is soooo messed up. And people wonder why I'm obsessed about Germany. Germany may have a few problems with the economy and guilt about the past, but at least they recycle there! And they aren't treating every foreigner like a possible terrorist, either.
