This one got a lot of air in the late 80s. As I recall, there were 12 entries in the race, which seems to have been a 1,000 meter dash of sorts, including a man and woman, an orange dog, a blue cat, a green ostrich, a purple owl, a white rabbit, and a green parrot among others. It came down to a photo finish revealing the winner to be racer #9 (a green kanagaroo). Is this familiar to anyone else, and is it still aired?
