Amblimation, Why did it shut down so young :(

What has Amblin done lately? I know there was something, can't quite pin it on anything. Was it Tintin? That movie was successful... just not in the US.
But remember, before the CGI cartoon movie boom, everyone was out there, trying to copy Disney's then success of animated films. I have no doubt, had Amblin animation still been around, they'd just do CGI stuff.
