Back in the 90's, Sesame Street had a series of segments that Muppet Wiki described as "chants" and "Gregorian." Each one would show a letter of the alphabet (capital, then lowercase, then both) against a background that looked like an ancient piece of art—a tapestry, for instance. As the letters faded in and out, voices could be heard singing the name of the letter, so that it sounded like something heard in a cathedral. I don't know how else to describe it, except that it made tingles run up and down my back. Watch this clip, and maybe you'll see what I mean.
