Aart from Sesamstraat dead at 81

Died from his injuries suffered during a traffic accident that happened on January 10.

He passed away today.

Hij is bezweken aan de verwondingen die hij vrijdag opliep bij een verkeersongeluk. Staartjes was medeverantwoordelijk voor vele spraakmakende jeugdseries.

Wow that's awful! I have never seen the show or seen Mr Staartjes peform but my thoughts and prayers are with his family. I also hope he's in heaven now smiling down on the fact he helped make Dutch Children have an amazing childhood.
