I have looked online for the answer to my question, but I just can't seem to find it. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places, but I decided to ask someone here. I know there are several on here who have experience in obtaining a copyright, so maybe you'll know the answer to my question:
Is it legal to copyright a literary work if it contains product names or trademarks within (ie: Nike, Burger King, Golden Grahams)?
I've written a play, only problem is, it takes place in a real life business. I figured I'd just try to get a copyright on it anyway, but I need to know. I'm also unsure as to how I might obtain permission.
