Hey there fellow Kermit Fans!

I found a suitable banjo prop for your Master Replica Kermit Photo poser. Here are several pictures of mine:
(Please note, the pictures are of a vintage toy. There are images printed on the toy of African-Americans that may be racially offensive.)

As you can see, I think the scale is pretty close to Kermit.

Here is a link to more about this particular line of plastic toy banjos:

There are two kinds of Carnival banjos. The ones that have small ridges on the side and no hole (shown in the link above with Mickey Mouse printed on them) are too big for Kermit. They are around 21" long. You want the smaller 15" size (no ridges, and it has a hole).

Since these toy banjos are now collectors items, they can be a little expensive. And since they are old and plastic, they tend to break and lose pieces. I was lucky to find mine with all 4 pegs, original strings and at a price that was under $20. I plan to paint mine, cover up the hole and add small metal attachments (you know those pins that you find on the back of name tags?) around the side of the banjo to add a little detail.

I hope that helped some people. Please also check out my Kermit puppet videos on youtube:

All of the Kermit videos on there are me with my puppet and me doing the voice!

Thanks!
Kevin
