There seems to be a gag regarding Fozzie driving a Studebaker. I just don't get it. Could someone clear this one up?

That part of "The Muppet Movie." It's a great scene, I highly reccommend it. The Studebaker Company first produced pioneer canvas covered wagons, and later produced cars until about 1970. (not sure of date.) Fozzie drives a car Studebaker! :embarrassed:

what scene do you refer to?

"Ah! A bear in his natural habitat! ... A studebaker."

I think Fozzie just realized that he WASN'T in his natural habitat.

Actually, I'm just refering to the idea in general.

Why not a Studebaker? It seems like thde type of car a comedian would drive... more particular, a bad comedian. Just imagine how many jokes you could make about a car with a name like that!

I think a bear puppet driving any car is funny by itself. When the car has a funny name, it makes it all the better. There really isn't anything to "get". It's just a funny concept to see a puppet drive and I don't think it was ever done before.
