where do you all meet these performers?
It is really cool how sometimes the most simple thing is really the best!
Also, thansk for posting the tutorial Andrew!
thanks andrew, it is really neat to watch Henson be himself and talk to people in the field candidly. Interviews always are stiffled and never really show you anything about puppetry.
I just saw it in NY last week!
Anderson was doing those roles and he was really good too, though I am sure Rick Lyons is just amazing!
I got to meet Jennifer Burkhart, who was also really nice. We didn't talk too much about puppetry though, just a little about UCONN and life and stuff.
This thread was really amusing to read through.
To answer the question though... I like the puppet video library encyclopedia idea.... Or what about A machine that could make things dry fast, how many hours have we all wasted waiting for contact cement, or paper mache, or the like to dry?
I agree with sesamekermie
Depending on the complexity and style of what they want you could also use a more Muppet style moving mouth attached to draping fabric, or a more complex head of paper-mache or casting in a product like neoprene. Mouth wise here is a neat site for a simple mouth...
