Jim Henson Idea Man
Remember the life. Honor the legacy. Inspire your soul. The new Jim Henson documentary "Idea Man" is now streaming exclusively on Disney+.
Bear arrives on Disney+ The beloved series has been off the air for the past 15 years. Now all four seasons are finally available for a whole new generation.
I'd like to see Toad ("Daddy, why does that kid have an umbrella on his head?") featured prominently.
BUT, I'd like to see the sidekicks and other characters from the Paper Mario series. I love Lady Boo, the little Chinese ghost with the bows and fan. :)
I did see "Fantastic Four" today...and it's totally making me get all SFX makeup-artist...I'm wanting to try to find some guinea pigs (besides me) to do Victor's metal scars and frozen Reed...
But man, a LOT of people had body image issues in that movie...
Johnny was one of my favorite...
Can't believe that no one mentioned an episode of "The Brady Bunch" he was on as hippie director Skip Farnum who wanted a realistic family for a laundry detergent commercial...except the Bradys went a little too overboard and it drove him nuts.
There was one just on "Reno 911!" where a children's show host is filming a show with the cops. This personality has a humanoid radish puppet as a sidekick, but everyone notices the radish. Junior is telling him, it's the same thing when someone sees a picture of Jim Henson, that they'll think...
Real People-
Fran Drescher
Sharon Osbourne
Diana Ross...well, just quoting Maya Rudolph as Diana Ross ("You gots to have ya turkey jerkey, Tina!")
Sean Whalen from the Got Milk commercial ("AAAAWON BUURR!")
Cartoons-
Cartman
Marge Simpson
Lisa Simpson
Bart Simpson
Maggie Simpson (Her...
I like Giamatti too, just not when he dances around in a speedo. -shudders-
And that SNL he was on was pretty funny, where the limo driver kept confusing him with Rob Schneider.
"Oh my God, he's a human TiVO!" :D
I'm starting to think those movies are really geared towards us girls...he IS surrounded by girls at home, actually. :) But a friend of mine and I think that he should co-write one of those movies with Jim V. Hart. (the screenwriter behind MCC and MTI who also did "Bram Stoker's Dracula" and...
Either the '20s (Just for the style...I think I felt that way after I saw "The Boyfriend" some time ago) or the '70s in the glam rock era. (Probably after seeing "Velvet Goldmine" and listening to all that great music...)
Let's see...those jerks at LUE were making mindless threats on my AIM.
BUT, the worst is chud.com. Seriously, DON'T GO THERE. The guy who runs it is a horrible moderator that never does his job, and his friends would always be mean to me, and then he'd blame me for all the problems they...
I'm guessing they chose him for his voice...I think they might do the same thinhg they did with Abe Sapien from "Hellboy"-Another actor in the suit while the main actor provides the voice...and in this case, it was David Hyde Pierce. (Coooosssmic...)
I still have yet to see "Kicking and...
Ha, the whole thing with Bill Cosby and Sharon Osbourne competing on "Celebrity Jeopardy" made me laugh.
"My goodness, that must be the dirtiest word ever..."
Heck, who can forget that crazy Napoleon bird one of the characters kept seeing, but no one believed him?
Anyway, that "Hattytown" was probably taken from the Krofft's "Lidsville", where it's a land inhabited by hat people...yet no silly bad-guy wizard, good guy genie and kid lost in a weird...
I have to say that the problem I had was the children being killed. I know that the Jedi were wiped out, but why give us the sad implication that he's killed young children? :sympathy: I know plenty of sad things were going to happen, but man, a lot of us are quite sensitive.
I did like how...
I want to know what happened to Pepe's musical partner Seymour the Elephant. It's kinda like this whole sad "DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince" thing where Pepe is Will Smith and Seymour is the little-known DJ Jazzy Jeff...just bring back Seymour!
