    Palisades Sesame Street Protos

Well holy cow... it's been a LONG time since I've posted here. I figured I would resurrect this thread to see if anyone had anything along the lines of the Sesame Street protos for sale. I've been out of the game for a while but now I'm back and I would love to get my hands on a Two-Headed...

Your Thoughts: Jim Henson's Musical World at Carnegie Hall

The show was incredible! I went to the first one. Yes, the sound was pretty bad in some spots but the show itself made up for it. It was great to see most of the Sesame Street people there. Luis and Caroll Spinney were mysteriously missing. I was lucky enough to get a 6th row right up front just...

Palisades Guy Smiley and letter "D" prototypes

Hah! I had a feeling you'd be the first responder to this. To be fair to other collectors, I have another FEP "B". I also feel that Guy has been in my collection long enough. He's probably my least favorite of my protos, but I love him! Does that make sense? I just feel it's time to see if...

Palisades Guy Smiley and letter "D" prototypes

Hello all. I haven't posted in this forum in a while so forgive me if this isn't allowed. I just listed my Guy Smiley Palisades paint master prototype as well as one of my FEP letter "D" prototypes on e-Bay. Below is the link to Guy. Check my other auctions for the letter D. Thanks for looking...

Strength of the bendable wires in MR puppets?

I remember reading that, too. I also reacall a statement here coming from MR themselves right about the time Kermit was released saying the same thing. I think someone compared it to a thicker clothes hanger. If you work it enough, I'm sure it will snap.

Cookie Monster on SNL December 18, 2010

Yeah, mildly amusing. But, unfortunately, this could have been a lot better. Cookie Monster making "up to date" jokes like calling Jeff "The Dude" and saying he wanted an i-Pad just seemed like the writers were trying too hard. The voice sounded good though. I'm incredibly disappointed that both...

Cookie Monster makes SNL audition tape on YouTube

Hmmm, not sure about this. Especially since it's not Frank Oz... and it's obvious. I'm one of the biggest Muppet fans you'll ever meet but honestly, is this going too far with the FB/SNL petitions? Since the Betty White thing I've been invited for numerous "hosts" for SNL on FB. If Frank Oz were...

Where in the world is Caroll Spinney?

That's awesome, Convincing John. Thanks for the post. I'm curious as to what other conventions besides the largely-promoted Comic-Cons there are out there? I love meeting the stars that attend these things. Any help with sites or information on the various conventions?

eFX Collectibles to produce Muppet Replicas

I do agree that Rizzo will probably be more expensive now if he does get made in the US. I gotta be honest, he's a lot smaller than I envisioned. If he is too expensive, I really can't see myself laying down over $300 for him just because of his size. Yeah I get it that he's smaller in the show...

eFX Collectibles to produce Muppet Replicas

So I just got back from the Star Wars Celebration V in Orlando, Florida. Efx had a booth set up with Reporter Kermit and Rizzo on display. I asked about the release date of Rizzo and he told me the same story that we had heard before. He said that the original factories they were looking into...

    Muppet Replica Props

You need Animal if you're going to start a Muppet band! Who else would play the skins? :halo: If you do get him, child-size drum sticks work just fine. They are just about the perfect size.

TMS Series 4 UK Release Date?

I think you mean season 4 of the Muppet Show, right? There is a whole thread on that over here... http://forum.muppetcentral.com/showthread.php?t=42293

More Palisades Prototypes on eBay - Sesame, Mayhem PVC's and More

Awesome, Count. You def need to take some pics of that. You did get the clamshells from Tink, right? I'm assuming they are packed away? As for The Count figure, I'm not 100% sure Ken has that one. I talked to him a while ago and he said he was working on getting some of the potential series 2...

More Palisades Prototypes on eBay - Sesame, Mayhem PVC's and More

Hey all! Just saw this thread. Ken has had most of the same protos listed for some time now. The majority of them are the same ones he's had for, if I had to guess, over a year now. His prices have gone up on certain items because he really doesn't want to let them go BUT everything has a price...

    eFX's Rizzo Thread

Thanks for posting this! I know we are all excited and just want to know what's going on. Some people may take things too far but the majority of us just want to keep building our collection and look forward to whatever you build... maybe Sweetums? ;)

    eFX's Rizzo Thread

Great! Thanks for all that information. I'll be getting him if he's under $400. I'd like to support the line as much as I can but if he's more than that I may have to hold off and hope they get to Fozzie.
