I've added a video message on my petition, check it out. Happy Thanksgiving! https://www.change.org/p/sesame-workshop-the-criterion-collection-shout-factory-release-the-entire-1971-1977-pbs-series-the-electric-company-to-a-deluxe-dvd-box-set/v/846846146
Should I just be lobbing my dreams off a cliff of ever collecting and viewing the entire The Electric Company series on DVD/Blu-Ray? Seems like that should be the case, with the royalties that the actors, namely Morgan Freeman and Bill Cosby, are still demanding, due to their having received...
Very good writing, Cullen! I could picture Joan Rivers' voice in my head narrating it, and the voices of Gene Wilder (Letterman) and Zero Mostel (Spellbinder). 😀
The next time we have a live chat/discussion of The Electric Company, it will have to be in a venue other than YouTube, or maybe the event should be set to private where it's just other Muppet Central Forum members and myself participating. About another memory of the show, there had been a...
An extended version of the theme music, released as a 45 single, which wasn't included in the 1972 Warner Bros. Records/Children's Television Workshop original cast album;
I will have to check if that sound cluster concept is included in Show #118B when I pull out the VHS cassette containing it, transfer it to DVD, then extract the video file from the DVD to share with all of you to watch during this week. Who agrees with me that duplicates of episode master...
Yes, that did happen to be a bit creepy; the tunnel being revealed to be a dinosaur's mouth! For all of those interested here in Muppet Central Forum, I think I will be doing a live YouTube chat feed discussing The Electric Company, the petition I have running for it, presently at 478...
That is why I am asking for others to locate any torrents of The Electric Company episodes that that blowhard might have gotten his private torrents from. So I am supposed to let episodes I have never seen before of the series remain a mystery? I refuse to do that.
No, and I don't know who else has them apart from the aforementioned. To think this is happening on my 52nd birthday, eleven days before the 52nd anniversary of the series premiere! When I say what torrents where, I mean online, in Google Search results, that sort of thing.
Here is a break in the news about the 312 episodes: George Wesson told me they had come from torrents. Exactly where to find them, what words I type into the Google search box to locate them, I wouldn't know, would anybody have any idea?
From Show #515, the next to last Friday episode of the fourth season (1974-1975). That season concluded with Show #520, as previously mentioned. Where on that website of the University Of Georgia is the episode containing The Adventures Of Letterman installment titled A Big Nothing? I can't...
A favorite skit of mine would have to be what I was introduced to in the Noggin reruns; what was likely the first Here's Cooking At You skit, with Judy Graubart as the spoof of Julia Child; Julia Grownup. The hysterical skit demonstrating double consonants (the Grilled Dill Pickles With Chilled...
That may be, Lucas, but I have to say as the Autistic enthusiast of The Electric Company, I opt for the whole enchilada as in full episodes or not at all. Sorry, I am very depressed over something unrelated. Back to The Electric Company, the 1971-1977 original series is too good for Sesame...
