I would think you would need to contact Disney. Technically they can't stop you from making replicas if you plan not to sell them or use them in any type of "show" or anyway that would make you money or famous basically you could create one or have someone create you one without purchasing it...

Thanks for the info. A friend of mine told me to sew it sepertly and then glue the mouth platte on and roll the "skin" on like a ski mask. I am getting ready to build my first puppet. :)
