I originally purchased a kit like this one from Toys R Us - I needed a small wig for a puppet I was building for a client in a hurry and it was past Halloween at the time - so I bought the kit intending to scrap it for pieces. This blank is how it comes in the box and to my knowledge you aren't...
Hi,
Just listed this Blank Blue Muppet Whatnot on eBay.
Here's the description from the auction;
"Brand New Muppet Whatnot blank Puppet from FAO Schwartz. Blue body - clean - from a smoke and pet free home. Does not come with eye, hair or nose. As is. Great for a beginning puppeteer, child...
You could probably use the Neon Safety Yellow and then dye it a couple of shades darker with RIT dye.
Or use the Beige to start from a more neutral color. Both will take the dye very well. It's super easy to dye Antron. These pre-dyed pieces can always go darker - and that depends on how long...
Hi!
I just launched an Etsy store - Exciting! - I'm selling a couple of large, stray pieces of pre-dyed Antron Fleece to begin with.
I have three separate colors up right now - yellow, neon safety yellow and beige.

Hi Everyone!
I'm selling more on eBay, this time it is a puppet head with an eye mech that has been laying around my house. It was an experiment with cable-controlled eyes and eyelids. This would be the perfect item for a puppet builder interested in the construction of a puppet eye mechanism...
Hi Everyone,
I'm selling two puppets (and one MR Kermit) on eBay. Here are the links,
This is a screen-used woman puppet a Canadian TV show from the early 90's and is in very nice condition still and fun to perform...

Oh....you know what, I think you're responding to the dancing that Piggy and Kermit do in the Florida video as "jerking around."
The sound is actually a couple of seconds ahead of the video, and if you listen closely there is are a couple of music beats that Kermit and Piggy are actually...
You might also consider using paper-clay. It's exactly what it sounds like....clay made out of paper, so you can sculpt it and it remains light. What works also is if you create a base or armature out of tin-foil and then cover that with paper clay making it even lighter. Like paper mache it can...
I actually like this idea and I think it would be interesting if Baby Bear was diagnosed with autism on the show. I don't believe he would have to be performed any differently, but I think it would be nice to create an awareness of autism and maybe he just says he has autism and there are...
That's a thought. I know of a semi-common puppet building technique to make a fatter puppet lighter they use a beach ball to make the character fatter, inflating and deflating the ball....maybe they could do this for Fozzie....that way he could also squish to be smaller in the package as well.
Psh....I'd rather have no Muppets at all than poor performances. The characters are the ones we love and they may pass on to performers but if they don't care enough to get that character right then I don't care to watch.
I'm not saying the performer didn't care that he was performing Kermit...
