Bear arrives on Disney+ The beloved series has been off the air for the past 15 years. Now all four seasons are finally available for a whole new generation.
The original Manah Manah, anything with Little Jerry, Roosevelt Franklin, The discussion of shapes with the hip guy & the square, Muppet News Flashes, "Adding is putting together", All game shows.:D
I loved it when Miss Muffet screamed at Kermit for trying to get her to follow the story..." Curds & Whey!!! I dont eat curds & whey! Have you ever tasted curds & whey?--WELL THEY'RE YUCKY SO DON'T TELL ME I GOTTA EAT 'EM!!!"
I liked the format of Muppets Tonight. I would love to see them retool it & bring back as many of the older characters as they can cram in. Just seeing Kermit, Piggy, Gonzo, & Fozzie isn't nearly as fun as bringing back Dr. Teeth, Link Hogthrob, Lew Zealand, Lewis Kazagger, Mildred Huxteader...
I always loved the concept of bringing together odd people who basically had nothing worth contributing to discuss a topic they know nothing about. I especially liked Mildred Huxsteader. She should return to the next Muppet series as a regular.
I really loved seeing Guy Smiley's game shows again. Those are hilarious...just another reminder of the genious of Jim Henson-take a children's show & use humor that appeals to everyone. Take note Sesame Street producers!
Maybe it will show up on Youtube soon....there's about 10 clips of it from the Muppet Show, but none from Sesame Street. It must be really hard to find.
