I'm leaning more towards it not being him, just because if you look at the friends list, there don't seem to be any actual people there, and most of the names that *are* there are spelled wrong... but maybe it is? Maybe he's just friends with a lot of people that have names very close to those...

Yes, they generally do banners for the living performers on their birthdays, and banners for those that have passed on on the day that we lost them.

That's what I'm hoping for. :-) I'm sure they'll get stuck in somewhere, sometime.

Those two specials do sound good, but I must admit that it's kind of disappointing that the footage that Steve Whitmire shot won't be included. That would have been a fun little bit to see...:smirk:

I called the place on Saturday, and the lady on the phone said that Kermit's not visiting the place, but they've used him as part of the Frog set up that they have going on...

Jeene: That's kind of trippy... I can assure you that the only official voice of Kermit the Frog since the passing of Jim Henson has been a gent by the name of Steve Whitmire. There's a wonderful interview with him elsewhere on the Muppet Central site. Hope that helps!

Well, the Stevie Scream Squad was formed back in 1998 by myself and my good friend and VP of the group, Carolyn. Our sisters were both Hanson fans, and we were making fun of the groupies that stood around and just screamed at Hanson wherever they went, when we decided that Steve needed a fan...

Yeah, it's been down for a little bit, but we're making a bigger and better one, so expect to see that in the upcoming months.:)

The original, and most well known, title is the Stevie Scream Squad. :-)

I'm sorry, but as President of the SSS, I must disagree with this... :-) The SSS has been around since 1998, but I would love to become a member of this fine group as well! :-D I disagree about the hair, however. I really like his long locks, both pre-Nov. and post.

Steve's first day was in March of 1978, according to his interview here at MC.

I'm still here, I just don't post that often. I've been around since the dawn of time, but way back in the day, my name was RIZZOFAN. Went by a lot of nicknames..... Mokey, Flower Girl, SSS Girl, Smay.... I can't remember all of them, LOL. *wonders how you guys put up with all of those name...

I think the pattern behind the menus is that, those that are still alive get their birthdays, and those that are no longer living get the date on which they passed on. I think. I'm not 100% sure on that. :) Sammie

It was a very simple proposal. We were celebrating our 3 year anniversary, and we were hanging out at my house when he realized he'd left my card out in the car, so he went to get it. I was left feeling horrible because I didn't get him anything (still haven't.... I should probably get on...
