Yeah- go for the Audition! It's a shame that MuppetFest might not be happening next March though :(
"Cabaret" is a fabulous show- what part will you go for?
Hello everyone,
Just to let you know that my series 2 Fozzie and Floyd figures arrived today (from Forbidden Planet here in the UK)! We're still waiting for the playset and exclusive Gonzo but I am sooooo excited to finally get Fozzie! Floyd looks great but as a Fozzie fan it's fabulous to...
Yeah, I've bought a few cds from play (like the latest Ben Folds cd/dvd for just 8.99!) but I've not dared look at their DVD section. I'll have to have a quick browse through and put it all on my Christmas list!
Ah right. I think mine goes region free, but I'll check in the manual tonight. Thanks for making that a bit clearer for me!
Actually, on second thoughts, my laptop has a DVD player and that's set to region 1. Problem solved!
Oh, now that I didn't know. Thanks, that's great! But what does all this mean?
Please Note: Regional Coding Enhancement (RCE): has been added by Warner and Columbia to certain Region 1 DVD’s. RCE will prevent the DVD from playing on some “Multi-Region” DVD players. If you are in any doubt...
Re: Warrick
The problem with the Time Life DVDs is that we can't get them shipped over here. Lots of American distributors won't ship to the UK (EBGames for instance ships to just about every other European country but not to the UK- now that's annoying!). So even though I've got a multi...
Yeah, when we popped into our local Virgin yesterday the large Namco Muppets had been moved from being hidden upstairs to downstairs right in front of the main cash desk. :) The figures were still upstairs though.
I like Fozzie!
There are loads of reason why I like Fozzie the most out of all the Muppets... but here are just a few:
1: He's FUNNY! Just the meer sight of Fozzie makes me giggle. Luckily my boyfriend finds this behaviour on my part endearing rather than psychotic. It's not that his...
Arrghh, the last thing I did before I walked out the door back to the office after my lunchbreak was to look at Kermit's tag- and now I can't remember what it said! It was a German Company- something like Catrick or Catrik? It was a german URL too.
Ooh, hang on, thanks to the power of...
You can get the Weezer one with kermit from Hot Topic (see http://www.hottopic.com/store/product.asp?LS=0&ITEM=206346). Good news is they ship to the UK by UPS Express but I don't know how much that will cost.
A better bet is to check out ebay as I've recently bought a Weezer/Muppet t-shirt...
That's the one! I'd been trying to work out what the other poster was all day.. ta for putting me out of my misery :)
I hope they bring out little (or large) beanies of all of the other characters that were on the boxes- Pepe was there! Perhaps they're just starting with the really popular...
I nearly had a heart attack in Virgin in Oxford on Saturday- not only do they have the little beanies that Luke mentioned but bigger ones too! The large ones are Kermit, Piggy, Animal, Gonzo and Fozzie- Kermit is 14.99 and the others are 16.99 (which is quite expensive really). I got a large...
We did "Cabaret" as our school play when I was in the lower 6th (that's when I was 16). I played Fraulein Schneider (the landlady) and it was brilliant! The play included pupils from every year of the school (that's from 12 to 18) and although it was quite a controversial choice it was one of...
