Does anyone actually have the complete series?

    2 MB's Episodes on youtube

There's three episodes I am dieing to see, can't remember the names. One has Kermit as Indiana Jones and he's flying a plane that has run out of gas and he crashes and ends up battling a spider. One has the babies losing a roller skate key and having to travel underneath the nursery...

    2 MB's Episodes on youtube

How do you DL episodes? You Tube has come a long way since it first came out. I can't get over how many Real Ghostbuster episodes there are on it right now. THAT is what needs to be done for Muppet Babies.

    2 MB's Episodes on youtube

Are there any members on here with pretty comprehensive sets? Seems like we keep running around like crazy people to try and find all of them. My real hope is that after Ducktales, Chip N' Dale and all of them come out that Disney is willing to tap into the vault on these.

    What episodes do you have?

Man I am envious of you guys. I'd love to have the episodes as MB (along with Real Ghostbusters) are really the last two shows I am waiting on. If you guys threw something together with most/all of the episodes I'd be very interested. I am in agreement that I only do this when I can't...

    Disney Will Do Anything..

Feel the same, which is why it's on my short list of cartoons from the 80's I really want. At this point MB and Real Ghostbusters in season set forms is my last hold out.

Complete Series on DVD w/ bonus features!

What's sad is the whole thing would be avoidable if people could get it legally. If a set came out tomorrow I'd but it first thing, instead people have to resort to things like this. I am certainly curious but the thing is, Jammin would probably have to supply a trusted member with an...

    Muppet Babies DVD Box Sets

Not exactly. When TV shows negotiate rights to clips, they negotiate them for the actual airing of the show. Nowadays many shows also negotiate rights for DVD's and VHS but back in the early 80's the concept of home video was still fairly new and the concept of TV shows on DVD or VHS...

What happen on the last muppet babies episode?

Nothing to embarassed about, I'm on the cusp of 24 and watch cartoons all the time. I really like animation. I'll tell you flat out I own the series on DVD and a lot of what I own is animated. Some cartoons I watch quite frequently with my wife. If people have a problem with that, screw...

What happen on the last muppet babies episode?

Evanier is a great source for finding about those old Saturday morning cartoons. Still makes me wonder how long Garfield would have went for had CBS not cut the budget and Jim Davis' decided to walk away. The show just never jumped the shark.

Man this show really holds up well today...

Some shows hold up really well in time. Some even surprise you (the first few seasons of TMNT hold up suprisingly well). Garfield and Friends holds up very well and is probably even funnier as an adult. Batman TAS, Ducktales, Talespin, Rescue Rangers, Animaniacs and Pink & the Brain all...

Complete Series on DVD w/ bonus features!

I dunno Jake was pretty active around here and on a few other sites I frequent (Tv.com and UltimateDisney.com) and he's a pretty big Muppet Babies fan. Don't know more than that, but he is pretty dedicated to the show from what I understand. Believe me, I;m very tempted.

What happen on the last muppet babies episode?

Cartoons in America rarely getting the ending fans hope for. When you look at a lot of popular ones, these just leave the door open to your imagination of what happened.

Let's say they would make MB DVD's.....

I don't know if I'm in the minority here, but I happen to think the series would sell rather well. There are far more niched shows that have sold well on DVD (Mario Bros., etc.). I think the audience is there, afterall Muppet Babies is one of most widely awarded saturday morning cartoons...

Cartoon all stars to the rescue.

I dunno, I think it was a combination of things. 1. Cable took a HUGE part of their audience away. Cable networks also didn't have the limitations that networks had (censors, money, etc.) 2. A lot of the FCC regulations designed to "protect" kids from programs built around toys and...

    The LETDOWN of Disney

I don't think it's Hollywood really. The real million dollar question is whether people still care about the Muppets. Now obviously you and I do, but what about the average person? It's sometimes hard for fans (and I include myself in this) to understand why everyone else doesn't like what...

    The LETDOWN of Disney

As someone who does marketing and PR relations for a living, a 5 year plan is not that long of a time. Especially when you are just about relaunching a brand because an entire generation doesn't know them. The thing is, Disney is already trying to do a lot of those things. The merchandise...

    The LETDOWN of Disney

The problem is still that people as a whole don't care about or know the muppets. It's not just a matter of producing new material, it's "Who is going to watch it".

    The LETDOWN of Disney

And part of the reason they generate that money is buy by making money. Whether we want to admit it or not, the muppets are not a guranteed draw any more and haven't been for the better part of 10 years. Lots of the money that was generated was because of years of marketing, preperation...

Cartoon all stars to the rescue.

The downfall of Saturday morning cartoons is such an interesting subject. Years later it still doesn't make sense to me, but life seldom does.
