Is it just me, or have waaayyy more of Richard Hunt's character's been reused than Jim Henson's characters? I mean, we've seen brand new Beaker, Scooter, Janice, and Statler. But we have yet to see a new Link Hogthrob, Rowlf, Newsman, Guy Smiley, and many other great Henson muppets:sympathy:
My moment may sound strange, but...
In MTM, in the scene where Scooter hugs Fozzie goodbye, you can briefly see Richard Hunt's hand under Scooter. That gets me every time because i know that i never met Richard and he died about a month before i was born. I know it would have been a pleasure...
NO DOUBT has Gonzo become duller. I mean, in MFS, i didnt see as much craziness in him as i did in the other muppet movies. Maybe the whole "being alone" conflict made him a bit more serious.:concern:
Actually, i think Pepe's doing fine in the spotlight.:rolleyes: Also, I'm seeing a lot of swedish chefs and rowlfs up here. just so everyone knows, i totally agree. It just isnt the same without them.:sympathy:
I don't know how you could say Gonzo because he just had a movie all about him about 4 years ago!:concern: However, the Mayhem, clueless morgan, and the Swedish Chef i agree with. Now, about that talk show...(lol):D
Just curious...
Which muppet do you think should have a bigger role? I mean, there are tons of muppets that went from being a main character to almost nothing, such as Scooter, who hasn't been on the scene for quite a while. There are even muppets who have never really been used much at all...
