Ryan is great as the new voice, though obviously we have yet to see if he adequately portrays the character. But, the interaction with the little girl was spot-on Elmo, so I can't wait to (hopefully) see more. Plus, he's a super nice guy, from the brief time that I met him, so I feel good with...
Does anyone have a quality version of "Shapes in my Room" by Telly? I just want one that is better than the version on YouTube, as it is the quality of a half-eaten potato in a pair of moldy underpants.
There is no regular schedule--everything has to be worked around John's work schedule and, as a result, group classes and private lessons happen sporadically. The best thing to do is go to the "Contact Us" and say that you're interested in taking lessons, and then you'll be emailed the next time...
Hey gang! My friend Jake is helping out with this new puppet web series in the works, called Going Up, and needs to spread the word, so what better place than the Muppet Central Forums?!
So, here's the official description:
Sounds great, right? Well, turns out making a high-quality webseries...
Hey, I used some antron fleece on a puppet and dyed it a month ago. It came out really nice, but now it seems to be pilling, even though it was totally fine days after I died it. Do you guys have any advice?
I don't think it's that bad. If anything, it just makes the illusion that the Muppets are in the real world even greater. Plus Disney owns the billboard in real life, so they can do whatever they want to make money. They ARE a company.
Eric, despite sounding a great deal like Frank, has a slight bit more nasally sound to his voice, which you hear in this video. Plus, Cookie doesn't sound quite as gruff. Additionally, why would they get Frank to do a 5-second home video logo? They probably just assumed no one would notice, but...
Muppet Wiki states that Eric started doing Bert in 1997. This video was released in '98. Plus, it just sounds like Eric and not Frank or David. Listen closely, and I think you'll hear it.
Now, we all know that Eric Jacobson has pretty much taken over all of Frank Oz's characters, aside from a few segments a year. The only character of Frank's that Eric hasn't taken over is Cookie Monster--now played fabulously by David Rudman. However, I think that Eric was originally supposed...
Hey guys, I need a puppet company name ASAP and I want to know which of these names is most popular with you guys and is the most appealing. Thanks! :fanatic:
Puppet full body shots could be REALLY good with modern-day CGI. That is, for full body shots that are not feasible to do with puppets and green screen. Do I think fully-CG characters are good for the Muppets? No, 99.9% of the time. If a character is supposed to be digital, like Waldo, then it...
Your puppetry is really good, seriously. A lot better than some of the other stuff I've seen online. But, if you want Henson/Sesame/Disney to see it, definitely make a reel. It's just the professional thing to do.
Seriously, though, your stuff is top-notch and you should send this to Kevin...
