    How can someone hate Elmo?

    I've never quite understood the backlash against Elmo, though that may be because I watched the show after he was introduced. I understand he can be a bit hyper/ADD-ish, but I have seen plenty of kids like that. So, why do you love or hate this cute little monster? :) And please be civil.
