The Foot Snugglies segment on YouTube has the mid 1970s/early 1980s News Flash logo, like when it first aired in 1980-1981. This version is somewhat identical to the 1986 logo but is a bit larger, and has two black stars and two yellow stars, instead of four yellow stars. CTW used this version...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RLYk77T9oAM Someone uploaded the News Flash sketch about Sleeping Beauty's kiss. Even though this was recorded by being shot in front of a TV, this is the DVD version;unlike the official version on YouTube, it uses the 1986 News Flash title card instead of the...

Ugh. First it was Noggin. Then it was the "Really Rosie" videos he uploaded. Oh well, he should eventually be back ;)

Thread bump: Since my old YT account got suspended (NOT because of this video), here it is again but with some newer clips added (such as the infamous "I-beam" and the Yip-Yip Martians) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0kZaXh2l1XA

Had another strange SS-related dream last night. I was browsing on YouTube, and found a strange version of the "I-Beam" clip, which involved it being mostly the same, but at one point as the music was continuing, it cut to Oscar the Grouchsaying "Now this is MY kind of thing!" or something like...

Kermit's duet with Tiffany near the end was pretty good! Could it be that Kermit is becoming a regular Macy's parade guest star? I HOPE SO!

I saw it. Not bad, though we had another pixillation glitch on my part like in 2007, but luckily it was brief and during when no one was singing. It was great to see Bob leading the kids singing again, but it's too bad Barkley and Herry didn't make it this year :( They also used the new Zoe...

Hey, thanks!

I was watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade again and I wanted to know what the marching music they always play after the "Let's have a parade!" is called. It's not "Seventy Six Trombones," that's for sure. It's always like... Da, da, daa-dada, da, da, daa-dada... etc. It starts in...

Regarding that Baby Bird episode, I thought the Placido Flamingo book by Richard Hunt was a clever touch! As was Caroll Spinney's cameo appearance in the episode about Stinky's birthday. As for the new "Murray Has a Little Lamb," sure we still have the annoying extended opening theme, but I'm...

This is inspired by the "Real Wheels" video "There Goes a Train," which had a scene that reminded me of the old "Waiter Grover" skits. So here you go... (We start on live-action stock footage of a modern Amtrak Superliner train speeding through the countryside. Then we fade into the dining...

Yep, that was Frank Oz!

Well, the Season Premiere wasn't so bad. Good to see the season start off with a Big Bird-centered story instead of an Elmo-centered one, which seems to have been commonplace since 2002 (with some exceptions, such as last year's Telly-centered season premiere). It was good to see practically ALL...

Can't wait to check it out when I get home from college today to see it! I recorded it. THEN I'll give my review

This is me: http://pics.livejournal.com/wile_e2005/pic/00044164 Big Bad Wolf Daddy!

It will start airing on November 10, 2009... exactly 40 years after "Sesame Street" first began airing in 1969! (I bet this was deliberate!)

This is how my Halloween costume is coming so far... http://pics.livejournal.com/wile_e2005/pic/0003sbcr.jpg

It worked for me. The new opening sequence was pretty cool. Even though the theme music was pretty much identical to the 2007-2008 theme, I could tell right away it was a different recording when it started up (the harmonica in the beginning gave it away), and the visuals that go with it are...

The wolf costume? Yes I am :halo:
