I've done the same, and probably many of us here have--most of us probably aren't made of money. Still, I'm really excited to have 3-D likenesses of less traditionally-marketable characters like Guy Smiley and the Two Headed Monster. I hope I like the final product, but mostly I'm just happy...

This seems pretty reasonable to me, and I have to agree with you on it. I'm excited about this line, and I especially can't wait to see the Two-Headed Monster. It's okay to be concerned about the sculpts, I think, particularly if they're supposedly not in final form and people have suggestions...

We only saw the Lego place from above, since we had very little time in the mall after getting back from the Twine Ball and before the concert, but it looked really cool! I've always loved Legos. :D

Well, we saw the show in St. Paul this weekend. It was fabulous, and truly magical. Both Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel were in great voice, and the crowd seemed to truly appreciate everything they did. We had such a good time! :) P.S. The Mall of America and the Twine Ball were great too!

Yeah, I suppose I could buy one, but I'm pretty sentimental about toys. I would just feel bad for Rizzo if I unceremoniously replaced him just because his nose came off. I'd rather fix him. It probably seems kind of silly, but I'd rather make him better.

I really like these shows, and they seem to treat the Muppets respectfully enough. There's some irreverence, of course, but that's just part of the package. What bugs me is the fact that I'm old enough to watch these shows and a) remember almost everything they're talking about b) complain...

We've been there once before, for an outdoor REM show that got rained out three-quarters of the way through. Nothing like hearing "It's The End Of The World As We Know It" with a thunderstorm unleashing its fury on you. We're really looking forward to the Simon and Garfunkel show--thankfully...

Is this finally happening? The last I heard, Disney (of course) owned the rights to their songs from the movie, but someone else (Cameron Mackintosh?) owned the rights to adapt the novel into a Broadway show. Of course, nobody would go see this without Disney's songs, so they were struggling...
