    NickGas turning into Nick Rewind

Hmmmm... while we do have Nicktoons, i would love to see classic unedited Nick shows like Rocko's Modern Life and the original Doug. but as they have old Nick shows, I'd love to see Inspector Gadget and Heathcliff too.

Do You Find This Funny At All?

Now those are clever, well done, and they don;t resort to obvious jokes.

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 38

Other than those 2 horrible animated segments (Any MC forum member worth his/her salt knows that I can't stand those dancing animal bits), the rest of it was pretty cool. The main story showed again that Telly and Baby Bear are a great match. Both characters play off each other very well...

    Season 38 Characters thread

The Triangle was indeed a muppet this time. It was somewhere in between red and pink in color, and had a light pink small round nose, a sculpted in black mouth, and muppet eyes with heavy pink lids. I gave the explanation of Tom Twinkle Toes as this earlier Yellow Guy Smiley AM. He looks...

Do You Find This Funny At All?

Not tasteless, mind you.... just unoriginal and not funny on that level of Henson already made that joke much better.

    Frank Oz Interview

I thought that Sesame Street Unpaved covered it. That kids would be afraid to tell their parents about certain things, and that the writers were running out of gags in which they just missed him. That said, YES, I agree it's become a kid's show, but then again, considering the state of TV in...

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 38

Jumping J and Swing like an elephant. Just on principle I should skip this!

    ~ Muppet Musique ~ (Updates)

I also wish that MORe companies would realise that they're making TV obsolete by just copying the same shows over and over. Do we need that many copies of CSI? How come Paramount isn't suing Fox for copywrite infringement over that Bones show? I think Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon, and...

    ~ Muppet Musique ~ (Updates)

That's what Muppet Musique and Youtube is for. We want to share stuff with each other that isn't available. We would drop it all in a heart beat if ALL this stuff were available for purchase. Who wants to see fuzzy clips of Gonzo on some local station when you can watch it on DVD on a big...

Do You Find This Funny At All?

Only Henson did it funnier. Yeah, big Bird's a big bird. So naturally, we eat him. yeah. hey! there's a pidgeon on the window sill covered in dirt and germs. Bet that's tastey. if you're going to do a Muppet send up, do something original and funny. Not so much for us fans, but for...

    James Blunt on Sesame Street

I've seen that a while back as a preview on Youtube. And it wasn't that good. We need to woo Chris Cerf back into making Muppet Style Parodies of songs, and not celebrities singing self serving "Hey Ma! I'm on Sesame Street!" send ups of their own songs. (Hugs copies of Born to Add and...

    ~ Muppet Musique ~ (Updates)

Funny thing, though. This is the problem only in the US, to my knowledge. in Japan, the creator always has shared rights with the publication and animation firms that distribute their work. It is common to pick up a toy package and see a long list of copyright on it. Say you pick up a Dr...

    ~ Muppet Musique ~ (Updates)

If the copywrites were actually protecting the artists, I would agree. But Copywrites protect big companies that just so happen to buy up as many expired copywrites as possible (expired, or taking advantage of a creator's greedy offspring).... like Disney did here. in a rare occasion the...

    New movies coming out...

Sounds like he's been hanging out with Steve Martin too long. I love ol Stevey and Bill. They are among the greatest people that ever graced SNL. I can respect they took an artistic edge, but then again, they do every so often choose terrible roles in terrible films. Look at BOTh Cheaper by...

    Slang of the past

Swinging pretty much has another meaning now. Not going to go there. Some people still say Groovey. The only slang term that didn't manage to wear out and stand the test of time was "Dude." Radical is never used anymore, unless you're talking about a fringe group. Awesome? it's used...

    Truth commercial: Muppets & smoking

Yes, but you cannot remove smoking from media, as it would be another attempt to censor reality. I think it is atrocious to call Muppet projects kiddy stuff. Puppetry like animation is an art form. But every near sighted person lumps it in with kiddy fodder. Other than a couple characters...

What do you think of Abby Caddaby so far?

Hey, if SS doesn't hype stuff up every season, they lose more viewers to inferior children's programming. Look at what happened when Cookie Monster had to teach healthy eating habits. At least it got nervous old school fans watching.

A Sanford and Son movie in 2007

George of the Jungle was just about the only good Disney live action cartoon remake. I also liked Mr.Magoo on the princile that I like Leslie Neilsen flicks. Inspector gadget I liked initially, but after I tried to watch it again, It was too hard to watch. And Underdog flopped the worst of all.

    New Muppet comic Strip

And people don't like my Disney bashing. Remember how releaved we were after Mikey Eisner was usurped from power? This guy seems MUUUUUUCH worse so far.

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 38

He actually does. Watch Elmo in Grouchland. He actually has more emotions if there's a story around him, and he's just not there to attract 3 year old viewers. That's why I'm taking a liking to Zoe and Rocko.
