    Muppet Babies DVD Box Sets

I've been doing some thinking and researching. I feel that they could at least have Best Ofs or single episodes or something.l Why? because not every episode features copywrited materials interspearced into the show. Especially in the later episodes, movie clips were nothing more than stock...

Disney Enlists Segel & Stoller for new Muppets movie

Who else thinks that somehow, Statler and Waldorf wind up saving the theater at the last minute? Seems like a very sweet way to end the film.

Elmo, Ready for Action! and his Overdominance

Lemme just say, when I was writing the bit aout Big Elmo's Elm-tacular Totally Elmo-ture show (elmo), I almost ha a heart attact laughing. Be thankful you weren't present to the great "Mini-gobo" Fiasco of Two Thousand Ought Two "save the elmo, save the world"

Elmo, Ready for Action! and his Overdominance

You are all victims to my WeIRd sense of humor. Maybe the cheap, pieced together in 5 minutes look makes it funnier. Sort of like they'd throw something together to please stock holders or something.

Elmo, Ready for Action! and his Overdominance

Somehow, i have the horrible thought that This will be the next SS Live show. (I wish I had Photoshop... it would've been a lot funnier if done well)

    Lubbock Texas Disney Store CLOSED

No, the Krispy Kremes didn't do good business and folded in less that a year or so (disappointing), but Dunkins? More of those things are popping up all over the place, and we have them even more frequent than Starbucks. Even in places you can't find a starbucks, you'll find 2-3 Dunkins in...

    Oscar Multicolor Kubricks

Me too. I wonder what prompted this movement of multi-colored pop art type products. i've seen all these different sets of Funko Bobble head "pop Art" (I think that's how they referred to them on the lable) gift boxes. So far, I've seen a Fred Flintstone, a Barney Rubble, and coming soon...

Elmo, Ready for Action! and his Overdominance

We have a winner: AH- HAAA! That's what I've been waiting to hear. It IS a marketting tool, and clearly they won't alter the show too much. Maybe a little to feature Abby. But that's it. That said: I don't completely doubt she was for marketting, but she was clearly added in due to...

    Patrick Warburton

I'm gonna come out and just say it. I like Patrick Warburton's Buzz Lightyear much, much more than Tim Allen's. Too bad he really wasn't discovered back then.

.. and why do they call it a fur coat? it's not exactly fur, and it's not really a coat.... And what's the deal with World Leadership? They're not really leading, and it's..uh..not really a ship. Who are these people? (sorry, something about this thread brings up 1990's observational...

I don't like Clifford, do you?

I agree. I completely agree with that. I feel the same way about his characters in MTI, Piggy especially. he was just there, and lost all the interactiveness that his characters were famous for. I mean, it's his improvising and ad libbing lines of dialogue and actions on the puppet's behalf...

Elmo, Ready for Action! and his Overdominance

And didn't SS at one point boast an audience of 4-7 year olds. Maybe the odd 3 year old or something. Kids ARE growing up too fast, and I really think that kid's television is suffering that. Stuff like Hanna Montana and Zach and Cody are cool because they are live action, and not cartoons...

Elmo, Ready for Action! and his Overdominance

2 reasons. Some of the child experts are the same kind of people that say that everyone should get a trophy, no matter how terrible they are at something. You know, so they don't feel left out. While it does sound like good intentions, it basically evolves into a kid's sense of entitlement...

Disney Enlists Segel & Stoller for new Muppets movie

Hey, didn't I remember hearing someone had a Fraggle Rock poster on the wall in Knocked up? These guys clearly want to show their muppet love, much like the Family Guy writers. Seemed that everyother week, you'd hear "This is worse than when I worked in the lab with Dr. Honeydew!" References...

    The Official "Office" Thread!

Michael actually using "That's what she said" in an argument? Does it get better than that? Definately a strong episode after the strike hiatus. And who else got the subcontext of that assistant's song and why Jan liked it so much? Hmmm?

    Lubbock Texas Disney Store CLOSED

Heh, in Massachusettes (paraphrase a local TV food critic show host, you can't punt a foot ball without hitting a Dunkin Donuts. Of course, the place pretty much originated here. Krispy Kreem however... that was here and gone in a matter of months.

And what's the deal with Airline food? It's not really an airline, and it's not really food!

    What if there were...

There WAS a cartoon Convinving John. I'm 90% sure I saw a cartoon version of him and his back up singers. If anyone from Austrailia has the animated series (I don't know if they released it there yet) I'm sure they could provide a picture or some info.

    Changes that you actually liked

To me, around the corner was basically the struggling to find a voice when multiple talents either passed on or left the show. Even Dave Golez was a part of that period briefly, to fill the gaps the some of the performers left behind. By the time Elmo became popular, and EW started up, they...

Elmo, Ready for Action! and his Overdominance

marketting wise, the merchandise has been focusing on the characters I listed. In fact, Ernie was along side Elmo (after sing and snore Ernie) for quite some time. Cookie came up a year later, and then we finally got some Big Bird and (just recently) Oscar stuff. There was a 4 piece Easter...
