Some of the performers and crew are in there as well.
But that was very cute. It's nice to see all the characters involved (especially Baby Bear! His mom works there, makes sense he does too). Feels a little less structured than the average late night show, but they try to cram a lot into 15...
The "prom night-night" was no doubt intentional; they did a cast reuniting night awhile back, so this isn't dissimilar.
I won't bother to butcher her real last name, but the woman who plays Erica posted on Instagram that the only episode left to shoot was the season finale before they had to...
As much as I love The Simspsons, I have no interest in the new episodes. I watch the new Halloween ones, but that's usually it.
The most striking thing I've noticed about newer episodes is Marge's voice; Julie Kavner really cannot sound at all like she used to.
Yeah. There was an early episode (https://muppet.fandom.com/wiki/Episode_0227) where Mr. Hooper's doctor recommends he take things easy, thus hires Cookie Monster to help at the store to give him a little time off. One could assume once Tom/David come along, he'd still be doing that.
Yeah, that's about it.
Also of note: season 26 appears to be first season to not have any new material by Frank at all, aside from a couple of holdover segments from season 25 (judging by the dates, I'm guessing he was deep in production on The Indian in the Cupboard at the time).
EDIT...
Yeah. I'm sure they could have gotten Jim and Frank for a street plot, but in the time it would take for one of those, they could've shot like 5 or 6 E&B pieces to sprinkle in several episodes rather than limiting their involvement to just one.
I doubt he, or any other of Frank's characters, made any appearances. We might uncover something, but it really seems like back in those days, there weren't extra puppeteers just performing established characters to just hang out in the background. There's an episode where Snuffy gets a postcard...
A few new details about Elmo's talk show:
-There's 13 episodes total; three of them will be there at launch, then they will make weekly debuts (like normal TV!)
-An episode will be shared as a free preview next Thursday, May 21, on YouTube
