:attitude: Oh, Sam Eagle already hates this topic. ;)
For me, it's the Raquel Welch opening number with the giant spider and the Lesley Ann Warren closing number (The Last Dance) with Link Hogthrob. And for you ? :halo:
Thanks, Winslow. I remember the sketch of Kid Fozzie with Rowlf in the saloon in the Juliet Prowse episode, but I didn't remember the song "You and I and George".
Why didn't they make a "Bear on Patrol" episode to explain that (Rowlf interrogated in the Police Station) ? :)
Rowlf sang twice this song at the Muppet Show : one time in the Phyllis George episode (the Muppet Awards) and the other time... Well, I don't remember ! :zany:
That's rather right, I only would precise that it was the frightening side of science-fiction, aliens and paranatural theme (Pigs in Space become empty shapes, and in the Muppet Lab, Beaker is attacked by an enlarged germ).
I see... Timmy is more impressing in his later appearance. In fact, the two models are terribly different : size, eyes, general aspect, all is different.
That's right, except that this part is with Gonzo, not Scooter. :D
Even if the Alice Cooper episode is scarier than the Vincent Price one, it contains an unusual mix of spookiness and modern, human references (due to the lyrics of Alice's songs) : for instance, when he sings "You and me"...
Is he called Boris Klinger ? I think that hideous actor's name is Thudge Mc Gerk (the Episodes Guides confirms it).
Indeed, Alice Copper's real name is Vincent Furnier.
Thanks for your replies. Winslow, thanks for your good analysis. In the VP episode, my favourite moments are the Horror House, the closing singing number, the spooky "At the dance" (with the couple of ghosts and the vampire biting his partner) and the ghosts performing the Beatles song. And also...
When I was a kid, I was scared by the Count, and now he's my favourite Sesame character. I'm not alone, according to previous posts. ;)
The first time I've seen the Count (I used to watch Sesame Street on French and Belgian Channels) was in the Seven Flowers sketch, and he frightened and...
Hello ! I'm Mad Hatter from French-speaking Belgium. I sometimes read this great forum, but I never write on it, and I know I'm wrong. So, today, I will start a new discussion : what's your favorite "horrific" Muppet Show episode, the Vincent Price or the Alice Cooper one ? Personnally, I love...
Hello, everybody.
As a fan of the Muppet Show, I'm fond of the Rita Moreno episode. You remember, Rita Moreno battled with the Muppets from beginning to end. Do you know why, in the Muppet Show, the actress of West Side Story was shown as a brawler?
