Simon Smith and His Amazing Dancing Bear defiantly comes to mind. ;):o
Time in a Bottle and 50 Ways To Leave Your Lover were songs I hadn't heard of until the Muppets, though that could just be me.
Growing up watching Muppet Babies, I was already predisposed to the idea that Gonzo could be an alien, considering he mentioned it in a few episodes, even if it was just his imagination. By all means, I don't think of Muppet Babies as being canon in the Muppet universe, but I, in my childhood...
With the exception of Lips, who I haven't seen much of, I like all of the Electric Mayhem members for different reasons. Dr. Teeth's design is alot of fun. Floyd always had some good solo musical numbers that I really liked. Zoot's personality and the way he is just so laid back and completely...
Snuffleupagus for Christmas was such a cute scene. Bert and Ernie's scene was also great. It is sad that the rest of the cast is playing second fiddle to Elmo, but he has had a couple of cute moments.
"Don't you just love the holidays?" :grouchy:
It's dissapointing that this movie didn't open well this weekend, but it's almost to be expected. A "R" rated movie for the holidays? It's not the feel good movie of the season. I just can't see many people going to see such a grim movie this time of year, no matter how much critics rave about...
I just got back from seeing Sweeney Todd and I really enjoyed it. It's been a while since I laughed, was on the verge of tears, and terrorfied all at the same movie.
After taking Survey of Sequential and learning more about Carl Barks, I discovered a newfound love for Ducktales. I wish I had some of the Donald Duck and Scrooge Mc Duck comics by the "good duck artist".
Scrooge is a great character and Ducktales was a great show. It was fun and adventureous...
Oh, I saw some of those the other day in a claw machine at a local mall! I tried to get Gonzo, but failed. Its not even a good Gonzo, but I'll take what I can get.
Fozzie wouldn't look so bad if his eyes didn't look like a drug addict... :o He and Animal look really fuzzy. It would be nice if...
There really isn't any way I can see anyone persuading me to see this movie. I loved the Chipmunks as a little kid and I recently saw The Chipmunk Adventure for the first time in years and the trailers for this new movie only make me angry and sad. It's like someone threw a little part of my...
- The Little Drummer Boy
- Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer
- The Year Without a Santa Claus
- Santa Claus is Coming to Town
- Frosty the Snowman
I really love all of these, but the Little Drummer Boy really gets to the spirit of what Christmas is really about.
I have never seen Dark Crystal ( I know, shame on me. I will watch it soon, I hope. ) but I hope to get this book for Christmas. It was illustrated by Hedi Arnhold, a SCAD alumna and I have to support that! Plus, it looks like a neat book.
I don't normally draw fan art, but one day, I was drawing a lush forest and decided to make it a swamp... Then I just had to throw Kermit in, and thus this drawing was made! :)

Bean is cute in a sickeningly sweet way. Though I say that in the best possible way. I like Bean.
But Robin is a different level of cute. He always came off as being a sweet little guy, and I agree that he makes an excelent Tiny Tim.
I don't really think Miss Piggy is so overrated or annoying. And even if she is, any good publicity the Muppets gets is well deserved, I don't care who the character is. The sad fact of the matter is that there really isn't much Muppets merchandise out there (or not enough for my tastes) or...
