Irish accents! Well, any accents, really, but especially Irish! Christmas lights! I can't wait till everyone starts putting them up. Some have started already; we've got some people up the street who have a huge display that's really cool. Erin

    Calvin and Hobbes

LOL! Great poem! I may have read that before. My brother Nathan has a lot of his book. Calvin and Hobbes is his favorite cartoon. He has his own comic strip, and for a long time its main character looked an awful lot like Calvin. He underwent a radical transformation, though. Erin

    Culinary Culture Barriers

I'm a pop gal myself. Even in PA it varies, though. My aunt moved from Erie to Hanover, PA, briefly, and while she was there she was shopping and asked someone if there was a pop machine anywhere nearby. She had no clue what my aunt was talking about. :p Erin

Things that make you go YAY!

Lots of things, but I'm too tired to come up with a list right now. So I'll start with one that's already been taken. Christmas music! :D They've been playing it on the mall radio along with the regular music, which itself is nice, but hearing all that Christmassy music just makes me feel all...

    Commercials you love or hate

I loved the Snickers commercial they had during the 2000 election, with the guy in the voting booth with the elephant on one shoulder and donkey on the other. It was hilarious! Erin
