The same reason they recently added Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and Just Shoot Me to their lineup. It wouldn't surprise me if they decide to add Seinfeld and/or Everybody Loves Raymond to their lineup as well. They thought they were loosing ratings by JUST playing classics.

Well, why else are they trying to "boost" their ratings by playing, airing, creating their own live action shows and movies? It's kind of like how TV Land doesn't want to air classic series anymore because they've been trying to "boost" their ratings with their own original reality series...
