Last night I had a dream that the Joker (from Batman fame) had kidnapped several famous people from history (Batman, Andy Warhol, Woody Allen, George Washington, Jon Stewart, etc.) and was going to kill them on Christmas. My friend, young Harrison Ford, myself, and a whole team of Fraggles then...
The first (and only) time I was in London a few years back, this show had just closed and was going to reopen a few months after we left. I so badly wanted to see it! My theatre troupe got to take a tour of the National Theatre and I'm vaguely positive that we did get to see the puppet of the...
After the poem I wrote last night (over in the poem thread), I thought I should write one for Richard as well. So here's something I threw together rather quickly. It's not the best, but I hope you all enjoy it anyway. ;)
Scary on the outside, but all cuddles within
Chasing pesky "fwaggles"...
Great chapter! It was a treat to wake up and find a new one waiting for me. And I totally forgot Skeeter and Scooter were twins! Awesome stuff. :)
I, personally, picked up on Janken/Scooter in Chapter 7 during "Interlude" when Scooter admitted to Gonzo that he liked someone. I'm a writer too...
A little poem for all of you
So, I'm currently writing a really long slam poem, but that's not going to be done for a while. So for now I thought I'd share this poem. It's short and quaint, and I like it. Hope you all enjoy it. Bet you all can guess who it's about!
Driving cars & banjo tunes...
Okay, I'm *finally* all caught up and all I can say is.... wow.
When I first started reading this story I felt almost like I didn't deserve to, because I've never really seen The Muppet Show (yet), but as I continued reading I found that this was more than just a fic about what if TMS was back...
Well, it's officially January 7th in my part of the world, so let me be the first to say:
It's been nineteen years, and we still miss you, Richard.
:eek::flirt:;)
Here's a tribute for Richard that I found on youtube earlier today.
Yeah, what Fraggline said! No one here's gonna laugh at you. Everyone in this thread alone as admitted to having a crush on a muppet (I've got one on Gonzo!). We're all very understanding on this forum. I've only been here for a week, but even I've learned that. So don't worry about anyone...
You might be an obsessed Muppet fan if you answer your phone by saying, "Wocka Wocka!"
(This may result in a really long pause and then your father stating, "I don't understand." Oh life.)
I just finished up part six of this story and, oh my god, this story is so fantastic and the last part I read was a little heartbreaking (but in such a good way). I'm still only halfway through but, man, this story's great. And it really helps that you're a great writer. :super:
I look forward...
I was going to comment about Walter being really tiny, but then I just remembered something: Jason Segel is a big guy. He's 6"4. That's a whole foot taller than me! Just imagine what Rizzo's going to look like when standing next to Jason!
When I was a kid I'm fairly certain I had a crush on Rowlf, but I'm pretty sure it was only because I had a sick obsession with dogs (until I was five my dream was to grow up and be a dog).
Nowadays, I must admit, I've got a tiny crush on Gonzo. :concern:
I'm having a hard time deciding if I like Boober or Wembly more.
Wembly is just so silly and adorable, and I love the fact that he always wants to be there for all of his friends. He's a scaredy cat, sure, but he's got such a big heart! Plus I love how his eyes swivel. The first time they did I...
So, I'm new here (I've only been here for a few days), and I've seen muffins referenced all around the forum. Will someone please explain them to naive, little me? :o
