I always loved Ernie and Bert together when I was little, but I'd have to say that Ernie was my favorite, just because he was so silly. You need Bert, though, for Ernie's personality to make sense. As I've gotten older, I've grown really fond of Bert as well. Bert's awesome! Bert is into...
Looks like the seller has an Elmo puppet too--very professional-looking, but illegal too I'm sure. Though it makes me think that Sesame Workshop should definitely license more puppet replicas of their characters!
No, that one got everyone. Especially if you first heard of the book when you were younger, it's natural to take it at face value. I didn't know about the "hoax" until my sister told me.
In writing it, he tries to satirize historical adventures like "Ivanhoe" and the like, which have a lot of "good parts" but a lot of bring political stuff too. In the "good parts" version, there are all these great editorial asides where Goldman explains what's missing, why he decided to cut...

:D

I know someone named Anders too--a cool name. I also know (from the news) of someone who named his baby with a 2.0 at the end instead of "junior." Mike 2.0 or something... :)
Hooray! I missed this news somehow, but I'm glad to hear it--I too feel a bit weird about having duplicates with the Time/Life set, but I am seriously looking forward to having the whole durn show!
:) :excited:
I really liked seeing them on the parade as well--that's the reason I flip on the TV on Thanksgiving morning. Three muppety balloons and a great float. Ahhh...
Andy-Wan Kenobi... Now that's a name I haven't heard in a long time. A long time...
My real world name is Andy. Not a big stretch o' the ol' imagination there...
Now my crazy inner-delirium name, on the other hand...
