Who thinks Frank Oz should come back?

"Anger? The man, is a RAGing volCANO!" Sam is great. He is the most original, the most wacko (NOBODY can be that patriotic, not even my uncle Ron), and the funniest. He hasn't been doing enough lately, and if Sam goes, who knows who's next? Floyd, Scooter, Janice, Robin, Beaker, and maybe...

    Favorite Richard Hunt characters

Richard's best character was Beaker. No ifs, ands or buts about it. Janice comes really, really close, but Beaker wins out in the end. If a character can come through that well and only say one word- "Meep!"- then that is a tremendous character. Steve's Beaker doesn't come close to Richard's...

Who thinks Frank Oz should come back?

I think the Muppets were not intended for kids in any way; it was right around the time Elmo came along that everybody started thinking that the Muppets were just for kids, because Elmo was just too dang cute. Eric does a great Piggy. His Fozzie is coming along and his Animal is mediocre...

    Regarding Sweetums

While I'm here, I'd like to ask the question that has baffled mankind for centuries: Can the frog tap dance? No, seriously, my question is thus: How did Kermit ride that bike in TMM?

    Jean Stapleton episode

Believe it or not, Jean Stapleton almost got the part of Mike Teavee's mother in "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" (the first, good one) but she gave it up to do All in the Family. She does sound much different when in person, doncha think?

I welcome you to our little boarding house, and sincerely hope that if you ever come over here, nobody says "Oh, Holland? Bork bork bork!"

You might be an obsessed Muppet fan if...

Ho, ho. Very funny. Ha, ha. It is to laugh. If you can point out every difference between the poser Kermit and the regular Kermit (this is Danny Horn, folks)... If you talked to an opthamologist about getting your eyes taken out to look like Dr. Bunsen... If you really, really, really...

Animal Jam DVD's arrive in May

I share my feelings with nearly everyone else, and especially my all-time favorite Muppet expert, Danny Horn: Animal Jam SUX.

    Regarding Sweetums

I was always confused about the operation of Sweetums. I know that characters like Pa and Ma Gorg were operated via a combination of body-suits and radio controlled mouths and eyes, but their mouths always seemed a little bit more "jerky" than Sweetums's mouth. Also, I understand that Hunt and...

The Anything Muppets were the Sesame Street versions of Whatnot Muppets. Your description of them fits rather well.

Best and Worst Sesame Guest stars

Best- James Earl Jones reciting the alphabet and REM with their hilarious "Furry Happy Monsters" Worst- Norah Jones singing a duet with Elmo and Garth Brooks (trust me on that one)

    Clifford and the Electric Mayhem

Clifford is funny indeed, but nowhere as good as Floyd.

    Muppet Matchmaker!

Hmmm........ Dr. Phil van Neuter and Janice would be hilarious. How about Piggy and Animal- two loud, opinionated, slightly annoying Muppets!

Now I know I'm doing this a tad late, but I'm here and "rarin' to go!' My name is Joe. I am a high school student residing in Nova Scotia, Canada. I have seen Terry Angus perform Butch G Cat on the IWK Telethon (my parents work at the IWK) and am impressed with his work. I was first alerted...

    Cross Advertising with Muppet Names

Thanks for adding Lips! Sam: Greetings. As an American eagle, I feel it is my duty to speak on the upcoming telefilm, The Muppets Wizard of Oz. Apart from the title, this group of Muppets has managed to take a classic story and adapt it rather well. I do feel though, that some of these...

    Clifford and the Electric Mayhem

Clifford cannot take over Floyd's role. Floyd is indispensable, like Kermit, Fozzie, Piggy and Sam Eagle. Clifford is dispensable- he was introduced later and can be thrown away at the slightest touch. Clash should get himself some new characters.

Thank you! Hehehehehe.... If you put that little start up sound on your computer to "Hi ho!"... If you considered taking Henson to court immediately upon seeing the animated Fraggle Rock... If you've ever met Jerry Nelson and he was impressed by your Muppet voices... If your favorite...

    Clifford and the Electric Mayhem

Yeah! Bill Barretta has performed Teeth in Muppet Christmas Movie and MWOO. Kennedy before that. According to the IMDB, John Kennedy will be performing Floyd in MWOO.
