Kermits face in Disney/Toustines Gnomeo & juliet

I enjoy the Kermit reference and all, but I'll have to agree with Dr. Tooth. It still doesn't make me want to buy a ticket right off the bat, maybe when it hits my local dollar theater and I have some time to kill.

    Anyone going to see Tangled?

I saw Tangled on Thanksgiving day with my Auntie and I godda say that movie really exceeded my expectations, me and my aunt really enjoyed. In fact she said she liked it even better than the recent Disney (non-Pixar) movies of Princess and the Frog and Bolt. I really REALLY enjoyed it. One...

    Cars 2

It's not that I "hate" Cars, but of all the Pixar movies, in my opinion, it's hands down thier weakest work. I'll give Cars 2 a chance, no doubt about it, and I'm sure it will perform very well at the box office and (as it still is from the first one) sell a ton of toys. But...I don't know. I'm...

    2011 Winnie the Pooh Movie

I also love LOVE that Craig Ferguson is going to voice Owl, whom is probably my favorite and, perhaps, underappreciated classic Pooh character. I agree if this has the feel of a "classic Pooh movie" count me in for watching it. I hope it performs well in the box office too.

What was the last DVD you bought and why?

Agreed, it's a total shame and to be frank, I did feel more than a little ripped off when I paid my ten bucks for this DVD. At Target (which is also where I'm working for a seasonal job) and as mentioned it was only 5 bucks. Also I went ahead and rebought The Great Muppet Caper a few...

What was the last DVD you bought and why?

Bought quite a few since last time I posted... Including... Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles Forever- Really loved this special speaking as a huge TMNT fan, but it's just too bad Viacom has to be so bad at handling DVDs. This DVD had NOTHING, no bonus features, no artwork on the DVD...

    When should celebrities write autobiographies?

They probably wanted Justin to write an autobiography while he was still "hott" in the public's eyes, which isn't a bad move. The kid is also getting a movie, can't blame them for milking this whole "Bieber craze" for all it's worth. So to answer the question: In some cases write the book...

Grover in Old Spice spoof on YouTube

Yeah I saw this awhile ago too. Don't know why I didn't start a thread about it either, but than again, I haven't been posting too much here as of late. Anyway, yeah, I really liked it as well. I hope to see more stuff like that from Sesame Street.

What was the last DVD you bought and why?

Got Studio Ghibli kick The last two DVDs I bought were Studio Ghibli and Hayao Miyazaki movies, cause I'm a HUGE fan of his work. They are... Kiki's Delivery Service (1989)- The last one I needed to get when Disney re-release four of this movies earlier in the year. Nauzicaa of the Valley of...

What was the last DVD you bought and why?

Pick up my copy of Disney's Beauty and the Beast: Diamond Edition on blu-Ray/DVD combo pack today. It was already on sale since it was the release day today and plus I had a 10 coupon, so I was able to get it for about 15 bucks, which I'm pretty happy about, :). Plus my American Dad: Volume 5...

Disney’s New On-line Muppet Store launches October 1

That seems pretty cool. But I don't understand those special "gold" editions of DVDs. It's just those tin sets with pencil, stickers and a few other things right? I got the Muppet Movie one at Toys R Us for $10.

    RIP Greg Giraldo

That's a pretty big bummer, I personally was a fan of his, even have his DVD: Midlife Vices to my collection. Sad news indeed. My thoughts to his (I believe) 3 sons and other loved ones.

What was the last DVD you bought and why?

My DVD/Blu-Ray buying has been fairly limited for the last mouth for so (due to me saving money for a few things as well as paying for school), but I was able to get my hands on these great titles... Ducktales: Volumes one and two- Found these at a fairly decent price of only 13 bucks each...

    Jim Henson bust

I actually saw one for sell on ebay, I really liked it and thought about bidding. But I honestly it had to be a fake. I found out about a year later that it's indeed real and I started kicking myself. :smirk:

Your Thoughts: The Muppet Show Comic Book

Just read my copy of issue #8 today and very much enjoyed it. I know I said it already, but I'll say it again...Boom Studios keep up the great work. And for some geeky reason, I was a bit delighted in one panel that three Jim Henson characters together, which were Kermit, Rowlf and Dr...

What was the last book you bought and why?

It was started by that one user, can't remember his name, but for some reason I remember he really liked the sitcom "Full House." He also started a thread titled "Read any good books lately," which brother some users, cause they were just about the same. But that's cool, to get back on topic...

What was the last album you bought?

Actually picked me up some classic Beatles today, cause I wanted more Beatles in my collection. Rubber Soul was the album, classic album. Features two favorites some of us probably remember seeing on the Muppet Show: "I'm Looking Though You" and "In My Life". Two really great songs.

What was the last book you bought and why?

I believe there was already a fourm about this...but oh well. Anyhow to answer the question. Other than a few books I need here or there for my classes. I've bought right now, I bought a few (more "mature themed") Manga books, which are... The Qwaser of Stigmata: Volume 1 and Dance in the...

What was the last album you bought?

I bought Toy Story Favorites CD. For three reasons really, 1) It was cheap at only 7 bucks, 2) got DMR points (plus points for that store I bought it from...Ok I'm a sucker for points for promise of free stuff, :), as I also do the "My Coke Rewards" deal) and 3) I really like that song in TS3...
