This is very true. Ollie the Dragon was the only puppet with a mouth that opened and Burr did not really do "lip sync". Even as a kid, this always bothered me. But not enough not to be a fan. And I'm certain that's because of the characters.

Well, I found out where he is -- The Teddy Bear Museum in Stratford-On-Avon in England. They claim he is the "original" Fozzie and was a gift from Jim Henson. Unfortunately, I can't find that picture... or any picture for that matter.

Disney not only doesn't have any 2-D features on the drawing board, they laid off all of the 2-D artists who didn't convert.
In fact, even their direct-to-video features are now going to be all 3-D. They closed the Australian Studio that did such nice work on some of those videos. Home...
Okay, I finally have an appropriate place to ask...
What is up with Fozzie in that avatar??? Has he become anorexic? It's terrible when puppets become anorexic. It's a national tragedy and not enough is being done about it.

Well, it might have been velcro in the 80's and beyond, but before that, often it was just double-stick tape.
In the case of Bert's nose, which Ernie would sometimes pull off, it was just held on with T-pins.

When we were at the Muppet auditions, there was a guy there who was playing the Genie in the live Aladdin show. He told us about the Snow White show closing, but didn't mention anything about them remodeling the theatre.

I used to go out to the set in between when they were shooting the show. It used to be on a property called Fox Ranch, owned by 20th Century Fox. During the run of the show, Fox sold the property to the state and it became Malibu Creek State Park, but Fox was still allowed to shoot the series...
