Well Sci Fi makes more $$$$ and attracts more people. I was actually looking at Creations schedule for early-mid next year, looks like they are very busy already.

It wouldn't suprise me if they both were told backstage, lots of 'suprises' aren't what they seem on TV. Generally though in live vote situations the card is only ever there for show - the presenter usually hears the result through his/her earpiece.

The interview was probably done a long time ago, i think the magazine is written quite far in advance. Even if they were working on a new show, it could mean they are looking for a deal for it. Just because they might not do the show they were going to do with Fox doesn't stop them doing that...
