I remember when we were little the focus was on rainbow colors IMHO, and you could pretty much pick your favorite...But then, the 80's and early 90's were more colorful for everyone:excited:
Ph :P. Makeup, clothing, and weight loss ads are ten times worst than cartoons could ever be IMHO. With cartoons you can not take them as seriously if your parents say so because they are not 'real'. But with those ads with supermodels and stars edited to look even thinner and more perfect than...
Nooo:eek:! *dramatic fake death*
Foo...You go the extra mile and still it doesn't have every episode like it says :p. Hit is the same company all around so I am really afraid poor Boober is going to be lost and forgotten again:(
Well, he was a teenager when FR was made, so it is more his teenager-hood ;). I wish more of we younger fans could have a say in things...
You know, I don't see how making a FR movie into a musical would be that bad. After all, people make new musicals into movies all the time, it is very 'in'...
Oh, it's really nothing about women's lib to me, I don't mind girly girl as some of my favorite toy lines could be thought of as that, but like MLP, I just hate what marketers think of as girly being limited to pink and purple. What about green? Or white? You know, now that I think of it, Abby...
A big reason for me getting up on the weekends when I was very little was Chilly Willy on The Woody Woodpecker show. I watched The Bugs Bunny and Tweety Show to, but I liked Woody better for some reason :).
But who and I to talk Daffy Duck has always been my favorite over Bugs Bunny ;).
Boy, you really are new :P. No one asks to do fanfic... We just slap a disclaimer on things and start. I think asking would almost be a bad thing, I would hate for FF.net to put another 'the owner of this is mad at you and won't let you write this' label up under Henson works over an RPG :(...
Not that I hate Abby but she is being marketed by the same sort of people that seem to think pink is the only color that will sell with My Little Pony :P. I wish that they did not have to play the 'everyone who is three loves pink' card to get anything to outsell Elmo (You know, my first...
I think Grover was the one that stole the show for me, besides showing what a 'hatter' is to the next generation. I wished that they had put that mad was another word meaning crazy, but I guess they wanted to make it as preschool and we in the US friendly as they could :P. I sort of knew how bad...
I don't like him. I think it has something with me just not liking the character to start with, even before he tries to be 'funny'. I dunno, I just don't 'get' him I guess...
I was raised on a bunch of UK shows so it has nothing to do with me not liking their brand of comedy...I still love Are...
My all time favorite Scooby was A Pup Named Scooby Doo, I loved it's running gags and how it was more comedy based. It is a big reason why even now Velma is my favorite character and as adults I ship her and Shaggy in my mind :).
And yes, I know the history of Scooby Doo and its roots for...
I think it is one of those things like any other character, not everyone is going to fit into the shoes of everyone. But Ginger really was me at that age to a T and because of that I could see more of her depth I guess:)...
And I agree with the clever part...It seems like even when shows try to...
In the big picture I think many older cartoons at least tried harder and had more episodes with memorable storylines, if not great ones. I watch most of the new shows and I can't even remember what happened an hour later. A lot of them seem to lack any true emotion to, which is one of the...
