I wonder if Frank didn't want to do Piggy or that Richard wanted to do Piggy or somebody else wanted either Frank or Richard to do Piggy.
Would be a good question to ask somebody like Frank Oz.

I've enjoyed the season 1 Muppet Show so far. I decided to watch disc 4 first since it had the Sex and Violence show since I watched that episode first and then watched the rest of the episodes on dsic 4. Now I'm on disc 1 and have watched about 5 episodes so far. Good stuff.
I actually like...
In the Rita Moreno episode Richard was doing Piggy for the first 10 minutes of the episode. Even in vets hospital when Ruchard was Piggy and Frank was Fozzie, I wanted to get in the television set and show the performers a clip of a later vets hospital sketch and have Frank switch to Piggy and...
How was Dr. Teeth's voice?
I thought Brian Henson was now the performer of Janice like he was back in the christmas movie. I hate it when performers don't stick with a character and let it pass around to other performers. (That kind of sounded dirty!)

Just caught this program this morning when I watched the first season of the Muppet Show. Actually this was the first thing I watched since I was curious about the show.
This does have elements of the Muppet Show, but the sex and Violence show is also not that focused as the Muppet Show...
The next morning the Muppets got up, ate breakfast, and left. The Electric Mayhem bus pulled right next to the building where Ed Zwellen's office was. Sweetums, being to big and all, rode on top of the bus.
The Muppets hopped out of the bus and went inside the building. The building was full...
The Mayhem bus along with Beauregards cab pulled up to the boarding house.
"They're back everybody." exclaimed Robin.
Kermit and company walked into the boarding house. All the Muppets looked at Kermit to see what he was about to do next, if anything, to get the Electric Mayhem back...
The Swedish Chef was funny in that clip.
I hope Scooter does do something. It would be great to see Beauregard do something as well. Also having the Electric Mayhem do something would be great or atleast get somebody like Zoot to do something.

The garbage dump where Oscar the grouch spotted the bus was in the middle of nowhere. Not only did everything in the dump smell, but it was dark and frightening. Who knows what lurked out in the dump. Beauregard's cab pulled into the dump. After a few minutes the Muppets found the Electric...
Thanks for the compliment. I didn't watch the Jim Henson Hour and know very little about the Solid Foam in general. I guess I could have used them as the replacement band although I didn't tackle with who replaced the Electric Mayhem while they were gone. I didn't know who would replace them and...
A few days later, everyone was at the Muppet boarding house. It was about a little after 10:30 that night. Rowlf, Johnny, Sal, Sam, Dr. Strangepork, and Bean were watching television. Scooter was preparing the show that was going to come in a few days. Bunsen and Beaker were in the basement...
The next morning the Electric Mayhem were at the 4th floor at the stage praciting for their concert, which was going to be tonight. Ed Zwellen had left a note for one of the bellhops to give the band when they woke up, which was the originally 7:30 am.
The band started to play the song they...
