Sesame Street Season 46 Episode 4615 - Birdie and the Beast

Ugh. I used to be so good at determining who performed who. This is what happens when you have to go for years without seeing SST regularly, and losing an ear for this stuff.

Sesame Street Season 46 Episode 4615 - Birdie and the Beast

This was perhaps the best episode of the season so far. In fact, it seemed a lot like Episode 4038 from Season 34, only Big Bird knew where he was going with this story. I'm glad that we actually had some actual scenery for a change instead of more of the chromakey and CGI (though there was...

    Courage the Cowardly Dog returning?

Dilly's still working on his new film, GOOSE WITH HIGH HEELS, but this time, he's provided some commentary on the WIP: He makes Flash sound like so much fun, lol. Well, Flash is kind of fun - again, I've dabbled in it myself back when it was exclusively for web animation and not an industry...

Now what's going on with YouTube?

Spoke too soon. Now, if you have more than 40 vids in your watch history, then the list starts screwing up, instead of 15-20 vids like previously. So, it's an improvement, but it's still a pain to delete duplicates from your watch history, and if you delete the duplicate, it deletes the video...

Episodes that Have Stuck with You

I can't believe I don't remember this episode at all! http://muppet.wikia.com/wiki/Episode_4154 Knowing the kind of stickler for detail that I am, I'm sure I would have remembered the bus stop sign and added it to my model (ironically, I just recently added a bus stop sign to the model by...

Sesame Street shrinks to 30 minutes, new shows will premiere on HBO and PBS nine months later

Now that Hooper's has wifi, when are we going to start seeing people sitting at the counter inside, or at one of the tables outside, engrossed in their laptops, tablets, phones, etc.?

Sesame Street shrinks to 30 minutes, new shows will premiere on HBO and PBS nine months later

'Cause they're cheap and lazy now. Performers' availability could also play a factor.

    Dealing with depression and anxiety

You're doing the right thing, Ellie. I don't know how you're feeling about it thus far, but to have a relationship with God through Jesus is something that you have to do for yourself - you shouldn't have to "convert" just because somebody else is pressuring you, and in fact, I find that when...

    Favorite Seinfeld moments?

You're right, there are parallels now that I think of it: M*A*S*H did so poorly in its first season, it was on the verge of cancelation, but summer reruns saved it and it became a hit in its second season. But M*A*S*H definitely went downhill fast in its last few seasons.

    Favorite Seinfeld moments?

Season 4 does improve about halfway through - particularly episodes involving Jerry and George and their pilot for NBC (which itself fictionalized Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David dealing with the network when selling the show).

    Favorite Seinfeld moments?

Yeah, I agree, the pilot was universally panned by viewers and critics alike - so much so that when the pilot went to series, the network had so little faith in it that the first season only had five episodes. To me, the earlier seasons (which were mostly shorter) show signs of how much it...

    Courage the Cowardly Dog returning?

I remember reading an interview with Marty Grabstein, and apparently Dilly had auditioned hundreds of people for Courage and couldn't find anybody who had the right kind of voice he was looking for, but the associate producer happened to be a friend of Marty's and suggested he come in and give...

West Nile, Swine Flu, Meningitis, and Sequelitis

You know things are bad when even fictional, non-existent movies get sequels! I kid, obviously.

    The "You know what?" thread

I see all this stuff about celebrities and companies and such canceling business plans they made in North Carolina and Mississippi because of these anti-gay laws and such . . . and apparently, now my state is trying to pass its own anti-gay law now too. It reminds me back when everybody here...

Sesame Street shrinks to 30 minutes, new shows will premiere on HBO and PBS nine months later

Now that I think of it . . . why does the new striped awning of Hooper's only go across half of the storefront and not all the way across?

    The Funny Videoe Thread

Everybody run! A zombie's lurching the snow-covered streets of New York at night, searching for snow-covered brains!

    Favorite Seinfeld moments?

He also liked to pretend he was an architect, which often gets me to wondering, why did George always want to pretend he was an architect? Why didn't he ever try to become an architect? He may not have been bright, but he seemed to be knowledgable enough in that field . . . if anything, he...

    Courage the Cowardly Dog returning?

Arthur Anderson died at age 93. I actually wasn't aware that he had a career that spanned way back like Lionel did - Arthur was the voice of Lucky the Leprechaun, and also acted alongside Orson Wells! Seems like with the exception of Lionel (and Arthur), as well as Jim Cummings and Kath Soucie...

    Favorite Seinfeld moments?

I got to thinking: if Susan's parents never liked George, then why did they not only put him on the board of directors of her foundation, but also made sure the foundation itself revolved around his schedule (nights, weekends, whenever he has freetime)? Were they trying to spite him since they...
