They used foam rubber for the interiors back then, fleece exterior. The foam rubber is what degraded on us. I'm sure they still have the patterns. They should be able to just rebuild the exterior and stuff them with something new I'd think, just as has been said.

Sweat tastes salty. One thing for sure is that no matter what time of year it is, if you are in costumed characters and start sweating, you will be completely drenched! I always sweat a LOT in costumes. It gets in my eyes, drips off my nose, runs in my mouth...e-yuk.
